Falls of the Ohio

On one of Skye's recent days off we were happy to get together with our old Sunflower School buddies at the Falls of the Ohio State Park.

The "bigs" enjoyed some autonomy in exploring,

 while the parents tried to keep the "littles" closer.

 

We marveled at fossils

and discovered fairy villages. 

I'm so thankful for days off of school and for dear friends to share them with.  I only wish that we had more of these days and that Gary could enjoy them with us.
