Cabin Fever

So, not that we're complaining, but some contingent of our family has now been sick for an entire month. Okay, there were about 3 or 4 days stuck in the middle, just long enough to get out and get another cold. So. . . we've been stuck in the house recovering in our various stages of sickness for what seems like forever. And what have we been doing to bide our time?

Amid much paper cutting, Irish dancing, book reading, and bird watching, there has been lots of fort-making,



pirate-scowling,



and joyriding.



But only one day that ALL the toys were dumped into the middle of a fort, laboriously moved to the middle of the living room where they were dumped again, before being sorted back into their various baskets.



And there was one big session of thank you note writing complete with personalized drawings.



We're crossing our fingers that we'll be better by Mama's birthday. Feel free to cross yours as well. We need all the help we can get. Did I mention that I'm going CRAZY???
