What a beautiful fall day in Kentucky! We had a great family hike in the Horine section of the at Jefferson Memorial Forest. We went to a toddler nature program and then hit the trails. Skye started out walking, but Gary's shoulder's soon proved much faster and more fun. The leaves are just amazing warm tones bidding the last goodbye's to warm weather. We have missed FALL. We forgot how amazing these crisp, dry days could be. Fall in Washington meant salmon and rain. Fall in Kentucky means sunshine, color, and rustling leaves. We revel in it all.
